Chapter 75
Ella was amused by the statement and wanted to refute it, but she had to admit that Jaden had a point.
Indeed, spending a lifetime together meant having meals, day after day, season after season.
Her eyes grew warm, and tears began to fall because she had finally found someone truly worth her time.
“Deal!” she said.
“But what if I lied to you about something? Would you forgive me?” Jaden asked hesitantly.
“You’re just a fool, what could you possibly lie to me about? No matter what you’ve done, I will forgive you,” Ella responded generously.
Jaden heaved a sigh of relief, thinking that he could reveal everything to her once he settled matters with the Watson family.
Later, Jenny told Ella what she had done.

Jenny was still a little too hasty because all the evidence could be gradually released to pressure Liana, making her panic and unable to refute.
Now, releasing everything at once only elicited a single wave of reaction, which was a loss.
But since Jenny meant well, Ella didn’t say much.
Ella watched Liana’s latest video, where Liana blatantly claimed that Ella prevented her from seeing Jaden, suggesting Jaden’s video was possibly coerced and not credible.
Furthermore, Liana expressed her intention to visit and apologize, even though she had done nothing wrong, which made her fans feel sympathetic.
If Ella refused or turned her away, Ella would be seen as unreasonable.
In this case, Ella had to admit Liana was cunning.
“You should meet her. It might be a bit hasty to make a decision without seeing her,” Ella said to Jaden.
“Do you not trust me?” Jaden interrupted.
Ella smiled bitterly in her heart.
Jaden wasn’t a fully capable person but was intellectually disabled, how could she place all her hope in him?

She had to prepare for the worst and give herself time to get ready mentally.
After the experience with Harry, she was extremely anxious.
She had thought that no one would compete with her for Jaden because of his intellectual problem.
However, now with Liana in the picture, Ella was completely uncertain.
Seeing Ella’s lack of response, Jaden frowned slightly.
Previously, he hadn’t trusted her promise of a lifetime, but now she was the one not trusting him.
Jaden said, “Fine, I’ll meet her.”
Ella replied, “Alright, I’ll arrange the time.”
The next day, Liana came to the hospital with gifts.
Jenny was furious. “Her skin is thicker than Grace’s!”
“She’s just being smart,” Ella replied calmly.
“What if you don’t see her?”
“Then she’ll have an opportunity to make a big deal out of it online. I’ll see her, but it must be in a public place with many people around, not the hospital.”
Ella wanted to take the initiative and chose a restaurant to meet so she wouldn’t fear Liana secretly livestreaming.
She also prepared a recording device to prevent Liana from secretly recording and editing the conversation to tarnish her.

Liana was surprised to find that Ella had been discharged and had dressed up to look even more miserable.
Ella walked with a limp and wore a long–sleeved shirt even though the weather was hot.
She rolled up her sleeves, revealing bruised and swollen arms.
Her condition appeared worse than it had been in the hospital, thanks to special makeup.
She even put on a patient makeup look with a pale face and bloodless lips, appearing pitiful.
Some customers and waiters recognized the two of them and were unsure of which side to stand on.
Ella looked beautiful, and her modest attire made her look like an exquisite flower.
“You…” Liana was stunned.
Although Liana had put on subtle makeup to look slightly haggard, she looked nothing special in comparison without injuries.
Some people started taking photos and posting them online.
Grinding her teeth, Liana forced a smile.
She said, “You look so serious, why were you discharged? I could have visited you.”

“I didn’t break any bones or have a concussion, so I didn’t need to stay in bed. Besides, I’m the person in charge of Willow Group and have a lot of things to deal with, so I can’t rest too long.”
Ella’s words were flawless, preempting any underhanded moves from Liana.
When the server who came to pour water heard this, he looked at Ella with sympathy.

Before Liana could finish her sentence, she was interrupted. S
“I understand. You’re so kind, how could you incite someone to commit a crime? It was all his actions, nothing to do with you. Didn’t the police already clear you? You don’t need to say more; I believe you.”
Liana was at a loss for words as she thought, “Why do these words sound so strange? Why isn’t Ella making things difficult? How am I supposed to play the victim and gain sympathy from the fans?”
Then, Liana added, “I brought you some supplements. Hope you’ll recover soon.”
“Thank you, it must have cost you a lot. If you have any difficulties in Ardbert City, feel free to let me know. I’ll help in any way I can.”
As the server served the dishes, Ella amplified her act, making Lia
feel like she had swallowed a fly.
Trying to stay composed, Liana finally broached the main topic. “About Jaden…”
Ella cut her off again by saying, “I’ll arrange for you to meet Jaden and let him decide. Neither of us has the right to make decisions for him, right? think you’ve got it backward. You shouldn’t be asking me; you should be asking him. If he truly wants to leave, what can I do?”
The server couldn’t help but interject, “Exactly, sho

Liana’s face darkened upon hearing.
Ella quickly played the peacemaker.
“Maybe she’s just confused. I’m sure she didn’t mean to.”
Liana tried her ultimate move.
She said, “I’m sorry, it’s all my fault. I shouldn’t have done this.”
Ella then responded, “It’s not your fault, I’m the one who’s insensible.”
Ella started crying, pinching herself to produce tears.
Then, she continued, “I didn’t find out clearly. Your engagement was over, and I thought he was alone suffering in the Watson family. I was just impulsive and brought him into my family out of spite. If I could foresee the future and knew you were waiting for him, I wouldn’t have married him. Even though we’ve grown so close, and I’ve fallen deeply in love with him, what does it matter? Love comes in order, right? I was just too late.

Liana was speechless.
The server couldn’t take it anymore and said, “I only know that love involves honor and integrity. When did it become about who came first? After a breakup, can’t people be free to love others?”
“Don’t say that. Liana didn’t mean it.”
Ella was addicted to acting. She was originally pretending to cry, but now that she was crying smoothly, harboring the idea of entering the entertainment industry.
The server said, “Ms. Willow, I support you. I’ve followed your Twitter and learned that you’ve sacrificed so much for your husband. Don’t give in. You’re not a homewrecker but she is.”
Ella replied, “No, Liana is sincere. How can she be a homewrecker?”
The server advised, “You’re too soft and kind. If you keep letting people walk all over you, they’ll take advantage. Be firm! Don’t worry, I’m your fan. I always support you. You are beautiful, cool, and kind–hearted and you deserve a happy ending! The third party should just leave.”
“Who are you calling a third party?”
Liana finally couldn’t calm down because being called that repeatedly made her furious.
