“I heard that there are four new tutors in the freshman year, all of them from graduate school. The response toward the other three tutors was mediocre except for you, Ms. Luna. Everyone had high praise for you. It’s as if they worship you.
“This must be the psychological maturity that Professor King talked about. Come on, tell me, how did you brainwash the students? I want to learn too,” Winston asked me with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes at his remark.
What was all this about? Why would I brainwash my own students? Why would I waste my time on something like that? It was useless.
If the students said I was good and liked me, it was because of my personal charm and my skills in painting. It was definitely not some calculated strategy!
But how could I explain this to him? There was no way to explain it. It was just not in my nature to play games.
So, I kept my mouth shut and ignored him.
“Ms. Luna, I heard that the professor arranged for you to be our psychological counselor. Have you prepared the lessons? When will you start? The competition is approaching, so time is extremely tight. Plus, everyone is eagerly looking forward to your guidance.”
Winston kept chattering in my ear like a broken record player, making me irritated.
This brat knew how to talk nonsense. I didn’t realize it before, but he was so annoying when he talked like this.
I really felt like stuffing his mouth with a rag.
“I’ve never studied psychology, and I have no experience in counseling. So, there are no lesson plans, and I don’t know when to start.

“In order not to delay the training for the competition, please personally visit Professor King’s office and make your request. I really can’t help with that, okay?” I said.
They should figure it out themselves. I couldn’t handle such sophisticated counseling.
Winston quickly caught up with me. As he was tall, he would occasionally look down at me with a smirk on his lips. Didn’t he say he would respect me like a senior? Why was he acting like a rascal now?
“It’s not okay. We’re good students,
so we won’t make things difficult for the professor. Moreover, I heard everything just now. You didn’t.

him means that you’ve agreed. So, you must conduct the training.”
What did he mean by that?
Wouldn’t I be his teacher as well? At the very least, I had substituted in a few of his classes. Shouldn’t that count for something?
They were just a bunch of ungrateful kids!
“I don’t have time to argue with you. You’re the team leader, so I won’t hide it from you.
“If it was about painting, I could teach you everything I knew, but not this kind of mental training. I really can’t do it, and I don’t know how. So, please find someone else.”
I said it full of anger and sped up my pace. My mind was a mess, and I didn’t even pay attention to where I was going.
