Chapter 74 Ciara nudged Acella from where she was standing. Acella really just wanted to run away from this situation and let someone else take the blame for her but Ciara will never let her do that. She has to own up to what she did. “A….Axiel…don’t blame Matthew anymore. It’s my fault. I’m the one who tricked him and left” Acella said. She had her head bowed and did not dare to look into Axiel’s face. Axiel turned to face Acella. He saw her standing with Ciara, Micheal and Miles Beta. He was surprised to see Ciara here with his sister but he didn’t have the time to think about that now. He just wanted to make sure Acella was fine. “Acella? What happened to you? Are you okay? You didn’t get hurt right?” Axiel asked. He had a worried look on his face. Acella felt conflicted when she saw this. For as long as she could remember, she had convinced herself of the notion that her brother didn’t care about her. She really didn’t know how to react when she saw him fussing over her so much. ……“Acella tried to say something but she was tongue tied. What could she have said? Ciara smiled at this situation. It seems that there is still hope for Acella’s and Axiel’s relationship. As long as the both of them start communicating with each other, things will fall into place sooner or later. “What are you saying? Tell me if you’re okay! You don’t know how worried I was about you! I thought that something bad had happened to you!” Axiel said. He had made a lot of enemies in his position as Alpha. He was really worried that someone will kidnap his sister just to get some twisted and perverted revenge on him. “I…I am fine. But don’t scold Matthew anymore. He isn’t the one who is at fault here. I am the one who pretended to be asleep and then sneak out of the house. You should blame me instead of Matthew” Acella said. She will have no other choice than to accept me back into her life Steve said. He had already investigated Ciara before he came here. He knows now that she is doing well for herself. He did not want to let her go now. He wanted her all for himself again. Nadia nodded her head dumbly. “I get it. So you should be preparing to leave now?” She asked. Nadia stood there as she thought about it. He seems to be right, they all seem to have some kind of connection with each other. If it will make Axiel look at her again, she is more than willing to take the consequences. Ciara drove Acella back to her house. Acella was already shivering in fear, thinking about what Axiel would do to her once she enters into that house. Acel you know deep down that you don’t mean that. You want your brother to care about you but you don’t know how to about it. Self destructive behaviour won’t take you anywhere. It will only make you more broken. Take it from someone who’s been through depression. You need all the love and care that you can get. If someone’s willing to give it to you, take it, instead of pushing them away from your life” Ciara said. She isn’t really someone who likes to talk much. But she is willing to break all of her principles for Acella’s sake. Acella bowed her head. She sure would like to let someone love her. But she doesn’t think Axiel will be that’p ‘person. Maybe it’s true that she had never really opened herself up to him. But that’s because she knows that he won’t care anyway. It will never have any effect on him. “Alright. That’s enough. Stop overthinking. We are going to tell Axiel what you did today. How you sneaked out and how you almost got taken advantage of. Remember this Acella. It’s not your fault. No matter who you are, you should be able to hang out in public places without fear of getting harrased. It’s not your fault that you met a jerk!” Ciara said. She did not mind saying the same thing to Acella over and over again as long as she can get it into Acella’s head that it’s not her fault. Acella shrugged. Even though Ciara had told her many times, she still found it hard to believe that it’s not her fault. The both of them stepped out of the car and entered the house. They immediately saw Axiel standing in front of Matthew and scolding him. “Seriously Mathew? Is this how you do your job?. All you had to do was watch my sister and make sure she doesn’t run off on her own! Are you telling me that you could not do that? I can’t deal with this, I can’t deal with you! She’s just a young wolf! you know what could happen to her out there? Matthew just stood there and let Axiel scold him. He had let Acella leave the palace because he believed that she could not get out on her own. He had underestimated her and he deserves to be scolded now. Ciara rolled her eyes. She won’t even waste her time trying to talk to women as dumb as Nadia. They all think that they can get a free pass to do whatever they want just because they have a pretty face. She wisely moved out of the way and Ciara and Acella left the bar. He just wanted to go to bed so he can plan out how to approach Ciara when he wakes up It’s a good thin thing that she’s in this pack for whatever reason right now. He won’t need to go too far to find her. “Are you ignoring me? I’m asking you why you were so nonchalant earlier at the bar after Acella and that she wolf left! No matter what Bella said, you didn’t reply to her. Whatever happened to you?” Nadia asked. But he didn’t care. Why should he? It’s not as if he and Nadia have anything more than a physical relationship between the both of them. Nadia looked at Steve for a few seconds. Then, she started talking again “Where do you know that woman from Steve? The one who was with Acella. The guard. Where do you know her from?” Nadia asked. Steve burst out laughing when Nadia called Ciara a guard. She is the beta of two powerful Alphas Michael and Miles How dare she call her a guard? But Steve did not want to tell Nadia Ciara’s identity. She should continue thinking whatever helps her sleep at night. “You want to know how I know Ciara? Fine. I’m going to tell you. She’s the reason why I’m here. She and I used to date in the past but then stuff happened between us and we broke up. And oh, she’s definitely not a guard!” Steve said. He won’t tell Nadia more than this. Chapter 71 Her eyes were blank. It seemed as if she was looking at nothing while she was looking at everything at the same time. Seeing Acella like this weakened some feelings inside Ciara. She really wanted to save her. She didn’t want to leave her like this. She didn’t want to watch another person go down the path that she went. “Why do you think that it was your fault? You didn’t know what he was going to do. You just thought that he was a good person and you were trying to have fun. It’s not your fault that he’s a bastard” Ciara said. Acella shook her head. No one is convincing her that this isn’t her fault. “I…I was the one who came to the bar alone even after Axiel told me that I should not come here. And he said…he said that 1 was looking for it” Acella said. “Forget what that person said! He’s a jerk! You can’t listen to whatever a jerk says. He’ll say just about anything to make himself feel better. He’s a bastard who’s going to get his just desserts!” Ciara said. She was glad now that she didn’t let him go as he had expected. Acella just kept looking into space. She didn’t say anything else but Ciara didn’t keep on pressing. She knows that Acella won’t just stop blaming herself just because she said a few words to her.. But she’s decided to stay by Acella’s side and help her overcome this. Nadia, Bella and Steve were in the bar. Ever since she met Steve, she had spent every day with him. Anyway, he said he was leaving soon, so Nadia felt like there was nothing for her to worry about. She was drinking as she observed the bar. Suddenly, she saw someone. Acella! She immediately tapped Bella. “hey, look over there! That’s Axiel’s sister. What is she doing here? She doesn’t like leaving the house. How come she’s at a bar?” Nadia asked while watching Acella. She didn’t like Acella but she plans to use her to get close to Axiel again, so she was already thinking of ways to bring Acella to her side. Chapter 70 Ciara laughed when she heard this. She knows people like this very well. He’s not remorseful for the things that he had done.
