Chapter 0115
Madison once again took her place in the central.fighter jet.
Brian sat in the co-pilot’s seat, responsible for navigation.
Eight jets flanked Madison on each side, with three more in the middle and Charlie and other pilots lined up behind her.
The organizers signaled for them to take off.
Madison, responsible for the simulated crash landing, took command.
Her voice was steady over the channel, betraying no hint of
nervousness.
Tens of thousands at the square were transfixed on the screen.
Many from their home country had made it to the venue, and though. few in number, they were screaming their support.
As Mukino International’s national flight squadron appeared in formation, skillfully transitioning from distant to close formation, patriotic cheers erupted.
“Go for it!”
“Mukino International is the best!!!”
“Go for it!!!”
Over the channel-
“I’m ready for the crash landing. You all balance the fighters in mid-air and wait for me.”
The eighteen other pilots responded in unison: “Received.”
Madison had no time to worry about the number of onlookers.

Brian, the co-pilot and navigator, monitored the surroundings, calculating distances: “We can start.”
Under the watchful eyes of tens of thousands, the fleet of fighters majestically approached their direction.
The smooth, elegant formation change was mesmerizing.
As everyone watched, the jet at the center, the one being protected, performed a swift 360-degree turn and suddenly dove downwards!
Having seen other teams perform the same task, the audience wasn’t frightened but watched tensely, including the domestic viewers on the scene, who were now too anxious to shout.
Their eyes were glued to the big screen.
Aerial cameras captured the aircraft’s proximity to the sea surface, maintaining a level shot.
The big screen displayed a counter on the left, flashing with descending numbers.
From two hundred meters, it quickly dropped to eighteen meters.
And in the blink of an eye, it was at eight meters.
Team M had not taken the event seriously, their members chatting and laughing away.
But a deafening scream from the crowd drew their eyes to the big
screen.
In the span of three seconds, Brian, gritting his teeth in the diving aircraft, shouted, “Madison! Adjust and take off now!”
To their eyes, it felt like the sea was touching them.
Madison, at the helm, clenched her jaw. With only a second’s hesitation, she rapidly pulled on the control stick!

Brian saw the sea spray hit their windshield, his heart fluttering wildly, shifting from the sensation of losing control to the suffocating rush of ascending.
Madison gripped the control stick, her eyes filled with determination.
In just two to three seconds, the aircraft went from skimming the sea surface to soaring into the sky like a whale leaping from the ocean depths!
The pilots circling mid-air watched the aircraft’s trajectory intently. When they saw it climb again, they shouted excitedly over the channel.
“We did it! We did it!”
Regardless of whether their minimum distance was better than the other teams, they had completed the task!
Brian, sitting as the co-pilot, followed the plane as it wobbled.
Madison maneuvered the jet from the sea level back into formation with her teammates in a blink of an eye.
Nineteen fighters flew in unison across the blue sky, looping the crowded stands, leaving trails behind them.
“AAAAAAHHHH!!!!”
arou
The crowd erupted, some so overcome with emotion their throats
nearly burst, and the next second, they cried tears of joy.
The spectator stands fell silent for a few seconds.
Then, an almighty cheer thundered through the air!
Even supporters of the other teams were shocked by the final score displayed on the big screen.
Previously, Team M ranked first, followed by Team P.
