Chapter 137: Found the Doctor. She Is…
Marcus stood at the entrance of the hotel
The street before him was empty. His chest tightened like a giant hand was squeezing the air out of his lungs.
He could barely breathe.
The suffocating panic drained the color from his face. He gripped the door frame for support, his whole body trembling.
The hotel staff noticed something was off, but lately, every time Marcus showed up, he was either furious or completely unpredictable. No one dared to approach him.
They all pretended not to see.
A sharp night breeze cut through the air, like tiny blades scraping against exposed skin.
“Mr. Wilson.”
Hector rushed over. breathless
Everyone had assumed that once Marcus brough display. Others were decorating the hotel suite.
No one had noticed when Gemma slipped away.
her back, nothing could go wrong. Most of the staff had already started setting up the fireworks
By the time Hector got the news, he nearly jumped out of his skin.
“She could only have gone to her old apartment. I have someone keeping an eye on the place.”
Marcus said nothing.
“1 also rold people to check the hospitals.”
Sull no response.
Grining his teeth, Hector continued.
“Sir, she has nowhere else to go. We’ll find her. And even if she’s angry, there’s always a way to coax her back.”
Finally, Marcus’s frozen expression shifted.
His eyes moved, locking onto Hector.
“Do you think it’ll work?”
His voice was hoarse, beed with doubt.
Especially after seeing the way Gemma had looked at him–like she wanted nothing more than to disappear from his life.
“Of course.” Hector reassured him quickly. “She’s just upset. If she really wanted to leave you, she wouldn’t have married you in the first place. Sir. you are the best man she could meet in her life!”
Marcus’s gaze brightened slightly..
That’s right
Six years of hurting her he owed her at least six years of making it up to her.
He’d actually considered giving up just now.
What a joke.
*Check the security cameras,” Marcus ordered. “Find out how she left and where she went,
Hector exhaled in relief and turned away, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead.
The night was freezing, yet he was drenched.
Then, barely ten minutes later, he came running back–soaked in sweat and gasping for air.
“Mr. Wilson—bad neval”
Marcus had been in the middle of changing the Crystal Hall’s decorations. This hotel held too many bad memories for Gemma–next time, he’d pick a different venue.
He was just halfway through the arrangements when Hector barged in
“What happened? Why are you panicking!”
Ilector swallowed hard, struggling to get the work out.
“It’s—It’s Madam–the–the was in a car accidem.”
Marcus’s expression darkened instantly.
| “Say that again, and I’ll throw you out ”
Chapter 137 Found the Doctor. She Is….
“Sur, it’s ral” Hector’s eyes were red as he pulled up a video on his phone,
woman ly motionless on a stretcher beside an ambulance.
Her eyes were closed, her face pale.
If not for the bloodstains on her clothes, she would’ve looked like she was simply asleep.
“Find out which hospital she’s in–I want to be there now.”
Marcus’s entire body radiated fury.
Whoever was responsible for this, he would make sure they paid in blood.
Hector hesitated then sighed
“Mr. Cassius happened to be nearby when it happened. He sent her to the Raven Emily’s private hospital”
Marcus clenched his fists. “We’re going. Now”
“But, sir—” Herior hesitated.
“Even if we go, they might not let us in.”
The Raven family’s hospital was exclusive.
Their top medical experts only treated Endly members or close friends.
Cutsiders!
Not a chance.
T handle it
Marcus strode out without another word.
The Raven family! Cassius! They were businessmen
If nothing else worked, he’d trade company shares for Gemma’s care.
Inside the hospital, Mabel paced anxiously,
Pamela, growing irritated, was about to have her thrown out when her phone rang
She glanced at the number–then smiled.
After answering, she pulled up the local news
“William look, look!”
Excited, she hurried over to the hospital bed, carefully helping William sit up
Today was the second day since his last treatment.
Tomorrow was his deadline.
William was already in a foul mood. He had just thrown a caninum, smashing a water glass into Derick’s face. Only after that did he settle down. Derick had gone to treat his wound. William had been forced to rest
“Look at what? Shouldn’t you be out finding a doctor! What the hell are you people doing?”
was nothing new.
His temper was
Pamela had long since built up immunity. Instead of getting mad, she simply placed her phone in front of him.
That bitch Gemma–if she hadn’t killed those serpent kings with her drugs, none of this would’ve happened to you.
“Look. She’s dead.”
William’s gaze flicked to the screci
He froze.
Then burn into laughter
“Well well, wel!”
“That damn woman–I’ve wanted her dead for ages!”
*She got off easy, dying so quickly.”
His original plan had been to capture Gemma once he recovered.
Tomure her. Break her, Destroy her. Then kill her slowly,
A shume, really.
But the thought of Cassius losing his mind over this made him giddy
Thale Tan’t wait to see Conlus go crazy
“I take away everything he cares about.”
Clupter 137. Found the Ductor. She Ta…
“I’ll make him suffer.”
He laughed willly.
Derick returned, a bandage on his face. He stopped at the doorway, hearing his son’s laughter, then quickly stepped inside.
In his rush, be nearly bumped into Mabel.
Mabel stepped aside respectfully greeting him, “Mr. Raven.”
Her heart pounded with excitement.
Gemina was dead.
Which meant Max was finally lend
Pure joy flushed her cheeks, her eyes shimmering with barely contained delight. She looked breathtaking.
Derick’s gaze lingered on her for a moment before he turned to Pamela. “So, the plan worked?”
Pamela let out a satisfied sight.
“Finally, I feel avenged. I swear, I don’t even feel dizzy anymore!”
Derick nodded. “Clean up any Inose ends before Cassius starts digging.”
William’s eyes glinted with malice. “Let him dig. Then we’ll take care of him too.”
Pamela was moer cautious, “Not yet. Let’s wait until your leg heals. Then we’ll plan our next move.”
William’s mood darkened at the mention of his injury. “And what about the people we sent to track Shawn! Why aren’t they back yet?”
As if on rue, the door swing open. The man who entered was beaming.
