Chapter 103: Gemma: Cheap but Versatile, Scumbag Men and Trashy
Women Locked In
“You dare hit me?”
Yvonne couldn’t believe it.
Since she was with Keagan, neither his wife Susie nor Madame Elizabeth had ever laid a hand on her.
Yet this woman had the audacity to strike her.
Cali wasn’t scared at all. “Today is just not my day, and of course, I run into someone like you–a real piece of work. No big deal. I don’t need a ‘lucky day‘ to put you in your place!”
Yvonne was about to explode in anger. “Keagan!”
Keagan’s face was filled with fury.
But when he saw the slap mark on his beloved’s face, his heart twisted in pain.
He reached out to gently rub the spot where she had been hit.
“Does it hurt?”
“It hurts,” Yvonne immediately cried.
Tears streamed down her face.
Actually, after the accident, Keagan had wanted her to leave quickly, but she had to maintain her image, so she brought Cali to the hospital.
Now, the innocent “victim” hadn’t been treated kindly, so crying was the only way to go.
Keagan pulled her into his arms, carefully patting her back. “Alright, stop crying for now, I’ll handle this.”
When he turned back to look at Cali, his face was dark with anger.
Without saying a word, he waved his hand, and three bodyguards appeared in front of Cali.
“Throw her out of the hospital. Keep an eye on her.”
“Yes, sir!”
The bodyguards immediately moved.
Cali screamed, “Help!”
But the hospital’s bodyguards were terrifying, and no one dared to intervene.
Yvonne let out a sigh of relief. Her image was intact, and her anger had been vented.
“Keagan, I’m fine. Don’t waste any more time on me. Let’s go meet Madame Margaret.”
Keagan sighed softly and tapped her nose.
“You–after everything that just happened, you’re still kind enough to let her off the hook.”
“How can you be so kind?”
“Alright, I’ve already had someone inform Madame Margaret’s assistant. She’s expecting us and will definitely consider the collaboration you mentioned.”
Yvonne felt more at ease. “Madame Margaret is Mr. Wilson’s mother, so if she speaks, Mr. Wilson will listen, right?”
“Of course.” Keagan answered confidently.
tine isn’t
“By the way,” Yvonne recalled something from earlier at Read Group, furrowing her brow slightly. “Mr. Wilson’s relationship with Dr. Kelestine isn’t simple.”
Keagan nodded. “I’ll look into it. Don’t worry about it.”
Cali struggled fiercely, but her strength was limited. Just as she was about to be dragged away, she suddenly felt her arms free.
Then, more bodyguards surrounded her.
She froze for a moment. Was she… saved?
Who was this kind–hearted person?
She almost wanted to bow in gratitude.
“Yvonne and Keagan usually bully people like this?”
A familiar voice reached her ears, and she turned in disbelief.
“Gemma!”
Gemma hopped over. “Gemma, you actually brought people to help me! Ugh, you’re my light, my hope, my goddess.”
She glanced down at her friend’s feet.

Chapter 104: Mr. Cassius is a Good Guy, Gemma’s Background Has Issues
Margaret was momentarily confused, unsure of what Gemma meant.
Meanwhile, Mabel was furious and snapped.
“Max has been nothing but kind to you! How could you spray him with pepper spray?”
Margaret’s face darkened.
She sneered.
“Looks like you’ve really improved lately.
And yes, I messed with Mr. Cassius on his golf course. You could say you got lucky that time.
But you’re a Wilson. Do you really think his reach stretches to the Wilsons?”
Gemma frowned.
She’s clearly not following.
Could it be that Marcus hadn’t told her they were divorced?
Or maybe, like Marcus, she still expected Gemma to come crawling back, acting like a doormat?
No answer came.
Margaret glanced at Gemma, but the younger woman was lost in thought, her expression serious.
She was probably just scared-
Or maybe worried about losing face.
Margaret’s annoyance grew.
An uncouth country girl who once nearly shook the Wilsons to their core–how dare she talk like that online?
People like her didn’t belong in high society.
But Gemma had healed Marcus’s eyesight. Out of respect for that, Margaret could teach her a lesson and make sure this Wilsons “young mistress” became a bit more competent.
“If you can pull it off, then you’ll stay my daughter–in–law, Ali’s mother.
If you can’t, then leave N.L City. Leave Max. Stop dragging the Wilsons down every time you make a fool of yourself!”
Gemma was speechless, struggling to follow the twisted logic of Margaret’s words.
“Your daughter–in–law’s made of gold? Does anyone have to beg for the privilege?
Honestly, these petty injuries shouldn’t mess with your brain, but maybe you should get a CT scan. I suspect you’ve got clots in there. Your blood vessels could burst any minute.”
Margaret could hear the mocking tone in Gemma’s voice.
Her eyes flared with anger.
“Gemma, if you keep this up, you’ve just sealed your fate. You’ll never be Mrs. Wilson!
Even if you kneel for three hours a day like before, I’ll never forgive you!”
Cali, unable to hold back any longer, rolled up her sleeves.
“So this is how you used to bully Gemma?
You old witch, I’ll beat you into the ground!”
Despite her twisted ankle, she hopped up and threw a few wild punches at Margaret.
Mabel quickly grabbed Margaret and pulled her away.
Gemma immediately stepped in and grabbed Cali.
“Don’t get your hands dirty.”
She pulled out a wet wipe and started cleaning Cali’s hands.
Cali laughed
“My bad, my bad. Got a little carried away when I saw a dung beetle.”
Gemma couldn’t help but laugh.
Margaret, on the other hand, looked ready to explode.
Fine, fine, Gemma. Just remember what you’ve done today. And don’t even think about getting back with Max!”
“Mabel let’s go!”
Mabel looked panicked, but inside, she couldn’t hide her excitement.
