Chapter 84 
Kieran was right. If she left, Audrey would catch her. So, their little act earlier would have been for nothing. 
Kieran casually patted the side of his bed and said, “Come here. “ 
This time, Freya obediently walked over to him. 
Freya smiled politely as Kieran thought she would comply and sleep beside him. Then, Freya swiftly pulled the blanket from under Kieran, pillows included. 
For a moment, Kieran’s face froze. 
“Thanks, Mr. Sutton. The room’s big enough. I’ll make do with a spot on the floor” Freya said. 
After laying the blanket on the floor, Freya prepared her makeshift bed. 
eeing Freya settling down on the floor, Kieran felt a surge of frustration. “Freya, you…” 

“Goodnight” Freya bluntly cut him off. After finishing her sentence, she switched off those glaring LED lights, leaving only a dim red lamp on. 
The sight left Kieran feeling even more choked up. 
“In the past, Freya would throw herself at him, and he wouldn’t bat an eye. At this moment, when he offered her a chance to share his bed, she refused. 

‘Fine! Then forget about it forever!‘ Kieran seethed and turned off the last remaining light in the room. Downstairs, the maid noticed the lights go out in Kieran’s room and quickly hurried back to tell Audrey. With a content smile, Audrey said, “First thing tomorrow morning, invite Ms. Harwood over.” 
Hearing this, the maid immediately understood Audrey’s intentions, nodding eagerly, “Yes, Mrs. Sutton.” 
Freya groggily opened her eyes the following morning, feeling the once–hard floor surprisingly soft. She then realized she was on the bed, but Kieran was no longer beside her. 
Freya wondered, “Where is he?‘ 
Freya got up as Kieran exited the bathroom, whose hair was still damp, wearing a loose black robe. 
Freya glanced at the clock. It was only seven. 
“Mr. Sutton, up so early?” She remembered Kieran usually got up at eight. 
“Just woke up.” Although Kieran said that, the truth was that he hadn’t slept well, getting up for a cold shower before dawn. 
Freya frowned. “Did you carry me onto the bed?” 
Kieran answered with a cold look, “You climbed up yourself.” 
Freya didn’t want to argue with Kieran. She got off the bed, feeling sore from sleeping on the floor. 
“I need pajamas.” Freya didn’t hesitate to ask him for pajamas,
