Andrew seemed pretty entertained by her words. He coughed a bit and then turned to Simon, “Go grab some food.”
“Seriously?” Simon seemed unsure. “You’re not talking about the sandwiches, are you?”
Andrew gave him a chilly look, and Simon quickly broke into a smile. “So, do you need me to pack you a meal, Mr.
Coleman?”
“No need.” Andrew shot back another glance. “Off you go then.”
Simon, now visibly happier and casting a grateful look towards Alyssa, thanked Andrew, “Appreciate it, Mr. Coleman. I’m off then, for real this time.”
Andrew’s stare turned sharp. “Feel reluctant? Fine, stick around for overtime then.”

“Nope.” Simon scrambled out the door as quickly as he could.
Alyssa watched the whole–exchange, thinking how this casual banter was something Sean, with his high and mighty air at Rivorn Clothing, could never pull off with his assistants.
Looks like Andrew’s a pretty decent boss, Alyssa thought.
“Have a seat. Andrew gestured to Alyssa. She sat down across from him.
“So, what’s up with jumping ship to Coleman Fashion? Thought you were against working in opposition to your fiancé?” he inquired.
Alyssa went pale, lips tight, but she spilled the beans honestly, “Well, ‘fiance is a strong word now. Let’s just say he’s more of an. enemy.
Andrew quirked an eyebrow, his lips twisting into an amused smile.
Alyssa continued, “You know how they say, The enemy of my enemy is my friend?‘ I believe we can collaborate. I’m ready to elevate Coleman Fashion and totally outshine Rivorn Clothing
Right then, Andrew’s phone buzzed. He glanced at it and said, “Honestly, Ms. Dawson, you haven’t been in the game for two years. Why should I take a chance on you?”

Alyssa was well aware of her hiatus and the doubts it could raise Without missing a beat, she laid her cards on the table. “Mr. Coleman, how about this? I offer you 20% of Rivorn Clothing’s shares if you give me a shot at Coleman Fashion. Plus, I promise you, within two years, Coleman Fashion will be in a position to take over Rivom Clothing”
Taking a brief pause, she added, “And yeah, I have one more thing to ask. Once we pull this off, you have to help me take back Ocean Enclave No. 3.”
Andrew took another look at his phone and didn’t skip a beat, “It’s been two years, and you haven’t even tied the knot with your fiancé. Makes one wonder about your capabilities, Ms. Dawson.”
Alyssa muttered under her breath, annoyed. “This guy really knows how to hold a grudge!
Nevertheless, she kept her cool, flashing a professional smile. “It doesn’t work out, consider the 20% shares a gift to you, Mr. Coleman.
Andrew didn’t respond immediately. His attention was back on his phone, scrolling through a family group chat on WhatsApp, where the conversation never seemed to stop.
Tyson Coleman: (Andrew, so, when’s the big day? Am I actually going to see you tie the knot or what?]

Leanna Coleman: [Oh, Andrew, I know some wonderful girls. When are you planning to come and meet them? Look at us. Your grandparents are not getting any younger. We just want to see you settled. Isn’t that fair?]
Julian Coleman: [Seriously, Andrew, what’s the holdup on starting a family? Nolan has been playing with his grandson for a good two years now. Here you are, still not married. What’s the deal? You think Northville’s too small for you, so off you go to Endale City to make it big? I mean, do you want me to pass away without ever holding a grandbaby?]
Celine Coleman: [Andrew, I’d really love to spoil a grandchild, you know? Is that something you could think about making happen soon?]
