“It is, but I swear somebody ruined that white dress,” I instantly explained, but he had already slid his hand out of mine.
“Nora! And you don’t think maybe it was Silas? He wanted you to wear his gown–” he shut up as his phone rang.
His knuckles had turned red, and his eyes were constantly filling with
tears.
“Excuse me,” he said without even looking my way. He marched
