Chapter 340
Queena, who had just been kicked out, simmered with anger. With her hands on her hips, she glared at the closed door before her and muttered. “Vincent, if I ever interfere in your business again, I’ll be a pig”
After being rejected twice in a row by Vincent, she was too furious to even acknowledge him anymore.
Watching Queena, Cynthia was amazed, thinking to herself. Queena is so adorable even when she throws a tantrum. No wonder Hallet and Cameron adore her.
She stepped forward and whispered in Queena’s ear, “Vincent is trying to find you a sister–in–law, Do you want him to stay single at
this age
“But why does it have to be Mila? She made Vince so miserable before, and now she’s hurting him again. 1 just don’t want her as my sister–in–law,”
Queena said sadly.
Cynthia, not fully informed of the situation, hesitated to judge but believed Vincent wasn’t someone who acted solely on emotions. She also didn’t see Mila as a bad person. Perhaps there was more to the story than met the eye.

“You should trust Vincent, Cynthia persuaded.
“Even if I don’t want to. I have no choice now. I don’t think he cares about me anymore. He was supposed to come and protect me, but now he’s busy falling in love. Hmph.” Queena scoffed loudly at the door.
Cynthia worried that Queena might think too much, so she quickly pulled her toward the restaurant, with the other three men following closely behind.
The wedding photoshoot was scheduled for ten o’clock that day. The photographer was ready in place, and Cynthia wanted to ask Mila to get the wedding dress ready before breakfast. But after knocking on her door for quite a while, there was no answer,
Earlier that morning. Queena had woken up concerned about Vincent’s health. Cynthia remembered that Mila had been called into Vincent’s room the previous day before they left, so she decided to check on them
What they saw was quite startling. Mila was wearing Vincent’s shirt, and everyone knew what that implied.
The group headed to the restaurant and had breakfast while waiting for Mila to get ready
Just as they finished breakfast, Mila finally appeared, dragging a suitcase containing the wedding dress.
Vincent, wearing a mask, appeared alongside her.
His face was swollen from the night before, making him look somewhat amusing.
He glanced at Queena, who was sull sulking, then playfully waved the bagels that had just been specially delivered and said loudly, “Hmm, these bagels smell so good. I wonder if a certain little girl likes them
The aroma of the bagels filled the air.
When Queena was a child, she was a picky eater, thin and small. However, she adored the bagels their mother made and could devour many of them in one sitting
After their mother’s accident. Queena gradually became less picky about food, but her fondness for bagels remained unchanged.
Queena gulped. Even though she had just filled her stomach, she felt like she could still eat a basket of bagels.
However, remembering how she had been shut out twice, she stubbornly turned her head away with determination.
Vincent chuckled and stepped forward, holding the bagels right in front of her. In a soft voice, he said, “Here, I bought these just for you
Queena’s gaze involuntarily shifted toward him but quickly turned away again. She wasn’t going to be easily appeased. If he didn’t coax her for a few minutes, she wouldn’t calm down.

Vincent remained unruffled. Having raised her since she was little, he knew her temper and character inside out. “All right, I admit I was wrong. Give me a break, okay? I went to great lengths to find these. This is the last basket. If you don’t eat them now, you won’t get any today.”
Queena still didn’t move.
Vincent pretended to be disappointed and said, “It seems like you’re not interested in these today. Maybe I’ll just throw them away,” he said, glancing at the trash can nearby. With a playful motion, he turned toward it, about to toss them in, when something caught his eye in a flash of
movement.
Queena quickly snatched the bagels and held them tightly to her chest. She then glared at Vincent and grumbled, “Vince, can’t you be more patient when you’re trying to coax me?
“I’m already very patient. If you’re going to complain, then don’t eat them, Vincent teased, making a playful attempt to reclaim the bagels, but Queena hurriedly turned to shield them from him.
Then, she began to devour the bagels one by one, stuffing her cheeks until they puffed out. When Hallet saw that, he hurried off to buy some water.
Cynthia held back her laughter. She approached Queena and couldn’t resist teasing, “Who was it just now that said she’d be a pig if she talked to Vincent again?”
Queena’s mouth was full of bagels, making her speech indistinct, She snorted a few times, mimicking the sound of a pig.
Cynthia couldn’t hold it anymore. She pinched Queena’s cheeks from both sides and chuckled. “You’re just too adorable”
Just then, Hallet came back with the water, finding Queena’s antics amusing as well. After she finished eating, the group got into the car and left. They headed to a small town not far from the hotel for the wedding photoshoot. The town had a quaint historical charm with buildings that were ideal for photography,
Upon arrival, the first sight that greeted them was a foreign boy dressed in a fashionable fisherman’s hat, deeply engrossed in fiddling with his
camera.
Mila
a swiftly stepped forward to introduce the group. “Everyone, this is Aaron, the photographer for our wedding photoshoot. Despite his youth, he’s achieved international acclaim by winning several photography competitions.”
Aaron greeted Mila with a cheek kiss before courteously addressing the others in Uprian, “Hello, everyone.”
They were all fluent in Uprian and responded warmly.
Vincent, however, maintained a solemn expression. He seethed inwardly, Why do you have to get all up in her face when you’re saying hello? Feels like you’re trying to take advantage!
Unaware of Vincent’s inner thoughts, Aaron turned to Mila and requested her assistance in guiding Cynthia and Liam to the makeup and wardrobe preparation.
The stylists they had engaged were renowned internationally,
Typically, Cynthia didn’t wear makeup when she went out, and her skin was well cared for. The stylist, who came from Fruycia, was clearly impressed as she applied Cynthia’s makeup, expressing admiration throughout
“You’re the most stunning person I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing makeup for, Ms. Larson. Your skin is incredibly soft and smooth, the stylist commemed
“Thank you,” Cynthia replied humbly.
The photoshoot that day had a forest theme, aiming for a natural appearance. Cynthia’s features were already striking, with perfect facial symmetry that needed only minimal enhancement. The stylist felt, for the first time, that her makeup skills were almost unnecessary
She applied subtle makeup touches to accentuate Cynthia’s natural beauty, then focused on creating the hairstyle and overall look.
About half an hour later, the stylist was thoroughly pleased with her work of art
