Chapter 1493As soon as Thalassa finished her question, she saw Reginald twist around in his seat, waving
towards the door. “Rosalind, over here!”
Following his gesture, Thalassa noticed Rosalind, dressed a crisp white blouse paired with a sleek
black pencil skirt, her hair cascading over her shoulders. With an aura of elegance and intelligence,
she maneuvered a wheelchair towards them.
Seated in the wheelchair was a man initially obscured by the door. As Rosalind pushed him closer,
Thalassa finally got a good look at him. With striking features and a commanding presence, even
seated, he radiated an air of undeniable charisma and authority.
novelbinClad in a tailor-made black suit, he seemed to eclipse everything around him, his piercing gaze
locking onto Thalassa, making the air around them feel almost solid.
Despite being in a wheelchair, his majestic aura remained unaffected.
Thalassa’s heart skipped a beat at the sight of him!

It was Lysander!
Why was he in a wheelchair? Did it mean that even though he had regained consciousness, he
ended up disabled?
As Thalassa stared at Lysander, she found herself frozen, her usually steady heart now racing as
though it might leap out of her chest. It had been three years since their last real encounter. His
eyes, still as deep and mesmerizing as ever, seemed capable of drawing one’s soul into their
depths.
As they locked eyes, Thalassa’s heart raced even faster, her breathing becoming labored.“Rosalind, Mr. Sinclair, welcome. Please have a seat,” Reginald said, standing up to greet them.
Callum, seizing the moment, also rose from his seat.
The dining table was rectangular, with Callum and Reginald initially seated on one of the longer
sides and Thalassa opposite them. With the arrival of Lysander and Rosalind, a rearrangement was
necessary to accommodate Lysander’s wheelchair, which required more space.

Quick to adapt, Callum moved to sit next to Thalassa, allowing Lysander to face them across the
table, with Reginald and Rosalind sitting opposite each other to ensure everyone could fit.
Taking the initiative, Callum signaled for the waiter to bring two more sets of silverware. With a
smile, he addressed Lysander across the table, “Mr. Sinclair, it’s been a while. After three years, you
still seem as imposing as ever.”
Lysander didn’t even spare Callum a glance; his intense gaze remained fixed on Thalassa, making
her feel almost suffocated under its weight.
Initially, Thalassa had managed to meet Lysander’s gaze, but as time passed, she couldn’t
withstand the pressure and diverted her eyes, nervously clasping her hands together on the table.
“Lysander, the doctor mentioned you should increase your calcium intake. Try some shrimp,”
Rosalind suggested tenderly, placing a shrimp in Lysander’s bowl.
Lysander?
The way she said his name was incredibly endearing. Even Thalassa, upon hearing such words, felt
a softening in her heart. Surely, Lysander must relish being addressed so affectionately.
Had Rosalind been taking care of him all this while?Thalassa felt a pang of discomfort at the thought.
“Thalassa, you should have some shrimp too. You’ve always loved them,” Callum interjected,
placing a peeled shrimp in her bowl – a gesture of care he had taken upon himself.
Thalassa caught her breath, instinctively glancing towards Lysander.
